Michael Woods, Maria McCarthy, and Brenda Fawcett Michael Holding, Grace Moore, President Choice Financial group(on letterhead) Customer Compensation Draw Niagara Falls, Ontario

I received a letter in the mail with no return address.  Inside was a letter with President Choice Financial letterhead.  It had a claim number and dated the 8th of December, 2009.  Final Notice of Winning,  of the CUSTOMERS COMPENSATION DRAW for Wal-Mart, Sears, Home Depot, Kohl's, Kmart, etc.  Says a ticket posted in my name was drawn, and entitles me to $100,000.00 to be delivered by FedEx. 

Enclosed was a cashiers check in the amount of $3,700.00 from SunTrust and letter said I was required to use some money from this check to pay for Government applicable taxes and insurance fees on my winnings.  Letter said I was to contact Michael Holding or Grace Moore to activate my check and for further instructions.  The letter was signed by Brenda Fawcett, president.

I received this on a saturday and called to ask about it.  Michael Holding answered the phone and I said "Yes, I received a letter in the mail regarding a compensation draw."  He asked me to call back on monday, as they were short staffed.  I was very suspicious from the moment I opened the letter, as I have heard of scams where they ask you to cash the check and then return some of the money.
