The GEICO Privileges offered users who signed up on their website a $25 Omaha Steaks Gift Card via email. The terms and conditions on the Gift Card stated it could only be used one and there was only one Gift Card per household. When I attempted to use the card to order some Omaha Steaks burgers, an error occurred in the online order stating an order minimum of $50 was required. I called Omaha Customer Service and they said yes, there was a minimum purchase even though it did not say that on the Gift Card. I then retried the website and it now said there was a $100 minimum order!! In the matter of minutes, the minimum went from $50 to $100.

Also, if you used the Gift Card you were not entitled to any of the free items such as a cutlery set or 12 free burgers with your order. This was not mentioned on the Gift Card.

This is a clear case of Omaha Steaks raising the minimum purchases to meet the demand of users using their GEICO Gift Card.
