Online Biz Marketing / Craig's List Free trial scam, asks for $1.97, debits $39.85 Scottsdale Arizona

I received several emails about working online with Craig's List. I responded and was taken to a link for a free trial offer. They ask for $1.97 and show a picture of a cd and maybe a book, saying you can get a free kit and software just for the handling fees. I had a bad feeling about this later, and began trying to find them through Craig's List, but they were nowhere to be found. They never sent me anything, and 14 days later they debited my account $39.85. I found their phone number through Rip Off Report, and called. The man said I had checked yes on "terms and conditions" which he SAID states that you can only get the kit online, and that you will be billed $39.85 after 14 days. I can no longer find the link but I will be looking, and will update this. He kept telling me this is a great business model and I should look into it. I asked him how he can sleep at night.
