RPMoutlet.com - RPM Outlet, Inc. Total Ripoff!! Houston Texas

In Nov 08 I ordered via their online store, a JET Stage II computer chip for my 2004 Dodge Ram. I paid $199.00 plus $33 in 2 day shipping. They sent me the WRONG Chip!!! The chip I rec'd was for a 2003 Dodge Ram. I did not open the packaging (did not break the seal on the chip package.) I sent the product back via the company's "RGA" process/instructions, with the Invoice and all the required documentation. I asked for an Exchange for the correct 2004 chip I need. The company did not call nor contact me after they rec'd the package. I had to call them several times and was eventually told to call back and ask for the manager regarding the issue. Eventually (1-2 week later) I called them again, and was told that, quoting Barbara, the Customer Service Rep. "RPM Outlet no longer sells JET Chips" and that I was being issued a "Store Credit." I said, that the only product I wanted from them was the JET CHIP for my 2004 Dodge!!! and so if they don't sell them anymore, I want a REFUND!!! She said "No." That I had agreed to their store policy thru my online purchase and that was that I am only entitled to a "Store Credit."

I asked her: What kind of a company are you? She replied "The kind of company that issues you a store credit for the merchandise." (Note: that I've as of late discovered that they don't actually sell!!!!!!)

This in my opinion is TOTALLY FRAUDULENT! They took my Money $$$ and ran, and cannot provide the correct JET Chip, nor will they redund me......

Is this LEGAL????
