Shoppers Market Research Tried to get me to deposit a check and wire most of it back to them. New York New York

Received a letter that said I could become a part time "Mystery Shopper" making $400/week for the first 3 months and then $800/week after 6 months. I would have to cash the enclosed cashiers check for $2940.00. Then wire $2400.00 to either Chantelle, Smith, Bronx Ny and Jessica Williames, Queens NY, or any City or State specified by our Accounts Manager but there is no phone number listed to get another Account Manager.

The letter seemed professional but there was no 1-800 number listed and there is no web site to look up. The cashiers check also misspells Forty as Fourty. I decided to google the company which led me to rip off reports and I found 23 hits for this company saying it is a fraud.

It pays to do your homework and if it is too good to be true then it probably is.
