From the looks of it , I can see several others received the same "unbelievable" grant/home improvement letter. I also thought, "too good to be true". I called the number as instructed. My Claim Manager was David Goldberg ay 1-289-83-92-2949
The first time I called I got their answering machine. I proceded to call back immediatly. The phone was answered by a man with a thick foreign accent named David Goldberg. He asked for my claim number and continued to ramble off the directions I needed in order to receive the remaining funds. I could barely understand him but he instructed me to cash the $4,900.40 check mailed with the letter and Western Union $3,150.00 to a Barbra Collins @ 1610 Smith Street, Houston Texas, 77002. Then I was to call him back and give him the ten digit code off from the Western Union receipt and that was how I was to receive the remaining grant.
The letter sent to me states a deadline of November,15,2008 to claim this grant and the man I talked to mentioned I must hurry and get back to him, and I said, "I'll cash the check tomorrow". He said, "good". He also talked as fast as he could or talked over me when I tried to ask questions. I new something was up when the supposed taxes and processing fees were to be sent to a Barbra Collins.
Anyway, my friends please be aware of terrible scams and heartless, empty scammers that look you in your eyes and lie. I wish there were someway we could sue this company.??? Any ideas??
