I was called and given the hard sell on the phone, so I took it. I was told I had 3 years to use a package of 4 days and 3 nights in Orlando Florida. I clarified the 3 years since I was not used to this length of time for any package. (I never bought a package like this before.) The telemarketer confirmed this length of time and package, so I bit.

At the time I didn't have an e-mail address and wondered why I didn't get a confirmation. When I did call back a month or two later, the woman stated that I was mistaken and that I only had one year to use the package, even though 3 years was clearly stated & clarified during our initial conversation. I explained that my job situation did not allow me to leave during that designated time and that I never would've taken the package with only one year to work with. She pretty much told me I was SOL. She did not apologize for the misunderstanding, nor did she offer to reimburse my money.

Since then, I was hung up on more than once, along with being put on hold for long amounts of time. I was just called again this morning, 6/27/09, by a very chatty Glen Goldstein who promised me he could rectify the situation. I actually believed that I might actually get the package I originally paid for! Only after 30 minutes of mostly his yakking, he had to get a manager. The manager 'Jeff' sounded amazingly like Glen who I was just talking to, only a slightly deeper pitch & slower paced voice. He insisted the only way he could help me was if I would upgrade my package with an extra $149 package added to my original $200 package.

He became nasty & condescending. He blamed me for not reading the literature and repeated that he could not help me with the original package. He then hung up on me while I was speaking. This 'Jeff' did not care that I was sold something different. --Also, his 'Good Cop, Bad Cop' regime did not work!

I called back, was put on hold again, and got Bob who refused to give me the name of a manager or refer me to a manager unless he got my personal information. Bob also hung up on me, after he promised me that he wouldn't. They have $200 of mine that incurred under false pretenses.
