Talent Hunter - fake offers, lies, fraudulent charges, prevents cancellation Fort Collins Colorado

Talent Hunter lured my 14 year old daughter into a "gold" account by sending her faked emails about people interested in her talents to which she could only reply by upgrading to a pay account. After she signed up for a 3-day trial, they locked her out of her account (password wouldn't work) so that she couldn't cancel. They did not reply to our password requests, then they claimed that they'd sent us email information about her password which we never received. They continued to bill us $49 /month and gave us no opportunity to cancel the account.

My credit card company gave me a phone number to call Talent Hunter, and I spoke to a woman, claiming to be the owner and calling herself “Anita”, on the phone, and she straight out lied to me saying that my daughter had called her and had been given her password over the phone. I checked my daughter's phone records (the number “Anita” said she was called from), and there was NO CALL to or from ANY number that was not local to our small Colorado town.

Please spread the word to people that Talent Hunter is a fraud - they lure kids (and adults, I'm sure) in with faked email from agents and such, and then charge you until you dispute the charge and/or cancel your credit card. They also run a couple of "blog" sites filled with fake positive responses and attempt (as otherwise noted here) to counter complaints with faked "customer" responses about how wonderful it is. Don't buy it!

I will happily cooperate with any law enforcement agencies willing to go after these crooks.
