Werner International Enterprises Company offers a catalog, Sends 30 flourescent bulbs and charges $998.00!!!!!! Baltimore, Maryland

Our maintenance staff received a call from this company offering a catalog.  Staff agreed to receive the catalog.  A few days later we received a box of 30 flourescent bulbs marked as F32-T8-CW-LLES and a bill for $979.00 + $19.90 shipping = $998.90! 

When we called the company they took our name and invoice number and stated a customer service representative would call us back.  The next day Kevin Lann called and spoke with our manager.  During the conversation he attempted to interrupt her while she was speaking and then hung up the phone.  He later called back stating he was a liason/mediator dealing with a "fraud" because the front clerks were being "bombarded" with calls.  Manager asked him if he hung up on her and he stated "Yes", "because she was being rude". 

Kevin later stated during the conversation he was having a "very rough day and he was on edge".  He offered to discount the invoice by 50% and place us on the "do not call list" or he would send it to litagation. 

Needless to say, our company will not be paying for these bulbs and will continue to get the company to agree to a return of the bulbs.
