5th3rd Bank Refuses to send check to body shop for repair of my car Grand Rapids, Michigan

I sent a check to the bank claims department that the insurance company sent me to repair my car.I did this because the insurance company told me they were going to total my car.I wanted it debited to my account.Later,the insurance company changed it mind
and repaired my car.The insurance company paid the body shop the difference of the original check.
The bank said they would mail a check to the body shop on Jan.7,2010.It is now Jan.25 and the body shop has no check!
When I call the bank,the person that I talk to says,the only person who can help is out sick.
My car has been sitting for three weeks waiting for the bank check.
Actually because of the bank AND the insurance company I have been without a car for three and a half months!
