In June 2008 I was offered a 3.99% promotion rate loan. This promo rate was good for six months. I was not informed that the rate would be raised to 34.99% in March 2009. Now I still owe half the balance of the original loan and must pay 34.99% on it until the ENTIRE loan is paid off.

I called to request a reasonable rate but I was refused. I must add that I have been a customer of Advanta since 2000. I am never late and I never pay only the minimum due. This is how Advanta chooses to treat one of their "good" customers.
