Bank Of America - Mbna Credit Card bank of america raises rates from 10.99 fixed to 20.89 variable with no reason what so ever!! Wilmington Delaware

i had mbna platinum card for 15 years and suddenly they were bought out by bank of america. i have never been lated or missed a payment ever on this or any other card i have and my fico scores range from 700-735. suddenly this month they change my rate from 10.99 fixed to a 20.89 variable for no reason what so ever also before the next bill when rate takes affect the minium due went up 150% on the same balance without any prior notice at all! of course is sent them the opt out notice as soon as i recieved the statment with notice of changes to the rate in fact i sent it certified mail to prove it was mailed! these people are the biggest crooks in the world its one thing to raise rates if late or defaulted but its another thing to double the fixed rate and make it variable on a 15 year account holder never late with good credit!
i hope that this sh%thole bank goes bankrupt i am writing my congressmen to make express my opinion that such a terrible scam bank like this does not recieve any bailout money from taxpayers in fact i feel they should not be able to use the word "america" in the name of the bank its an insult!!!
everyday thereis tons of new complaints about this bank and even business week apparently wrote a story about this banks bad business practices called " a card you want to toss" google it and see for yourself! i knew my mbna account i had been most satisfied with for years was gonna take a turn for the worse when these criminals bought them out!
