I have been a customer of Bank of america for some time. Bank of america sent out an email in late August or early September that if you payed a bill online during september that you would receive $25.00 to your account. It is January of 2003 and I still have not seen the $25.00.

Every time I call, Bank of america tells me a new date that I can expect the money. Of course they have No problem taking overdraft fees from my account. As soon as I get my money, I am closing my account. If anyone else has had this problem let me know.

You are not speaking to the right people

AUTHOR: Li - Albuquerque (U.S.A.)

From reading your letter and being a hands on person in the field of problem resolution at B of A you are not speaking to the right people. I deal with lost items daily and we resolve every matter to the fullest. As a matter of fact we have a set of team members that do this all day long.

In regards to overdraft fees, we don't get up every morning and decide to charge you. You overspend and we pay it. It is in essence like a loan. Would you loan out money for free? But of course you think we are so big we roll in money when we go to work. We get charged for check processing, ordering cash. This world is not free. Would you go to the grocery store, take a gallon of milk and tell the clerk, I will pay you later, don't charge me for it. I will catch up. Your balances should be tracked by you in a book and balanced monthly. This is the true answer that you need. Blaming the bank for your overspending is not the answer.

#2 Consumer Suggestion

ASK YOURSELF WHY ..after our bank accounts have been cleaned out, our credit stolen, and our identity stolen-that have to somehow stop these conspiracies

AUTHOR: L - Colbert (U.S.A.)

From experience I have to write to advise you when i read that a bank would pay their customers $25.00 if they did an online transaction,,,,set off all my alarms..... Why do you think they would advertise such with monetary incentive.>?? I am very concerned with all these data bases popping up (such as check machines; debit card places, and even some retail stores)WHO IS RECIEVING all our personal info>??? Are they credible--does anyone monitor this>? Or is it us as consumers after our bank accounts have been cleaned out, our credit stolen, and our identity stolen-that have to somehow stop these conspiracies....People need to question instead of blindly trusting B4 it is too late
