Banksafe USA Misrepresented themselves and took money from my account Internet

Banksafe called and misrepresented themselves as working with or for my bank on a fraud case. They had my checking account information as well as information from a check I had paid from the bank's online bill paying service.

I have contacted Banksafe on several occasions, sent a cancellation request form and I am still not getting any satisfaction from the company. I was told my refund would be sent out on May 7, 2007. I called May 9, 2007 and am now being told that they are changing banks and it will be another month before my check is issued.

Hi Carol,

My name is Ari, I can help speed up the process for you. I just want to state that refunds are generally issued on the first of every month according to policy. If you called on the 1st or after, you may have been filed into June's cancellations. Call me directly, and I will see what I can do to speed things up. One point that I need to state however is that our contracts clearly state who we are and what we do, furthermore, we make sure clients understand that we are not calling from the bank, and in no way are we connected with the bank. If you had unauthorized withdrawals that you required assistance with, we would work with your bank on your behalf to help resolve the situation, that's all! I apologize for the confusion, and will do what I can to help. Please identify yourself as Carol from this report when calling me.
