Well, your very first line said it all. It told me that you do not maintain a checkbook register. That is the root of your problems here. No rip off, just bad accounting on your end.
"I checked my account Jan.4 2011 and notice I had a low balance in my account, so that early morning I drove to the nearest bank(20 mins) away to deposit $140 dollars cash and that was @ 10 am."
You should never have to "check your account" as you stated.
The ONLY way to PROPERLY determine your available balance is with your checkbook register. NEVER rely on online banking or telephone banking to determine your abailable balance.
You WILL have "problems" with ANY bank you go to if you don't learn how to keep an accurate checkbook register. Guaranteed.
And it makes the problem even worse as I see you are a person who makes every little purchase with your debit card, like all of those $4-$7 debits. That is just asking for trouble in relation to the low balance you maintain, and the cost of NSF fees.
I have banked with BB&T for over 4 years now and have not ever had even 1 problem, but I maintain an accurate checkbook register.
Stop being stupid, lazy, or whatever your malfunction is here and just maintain an accurate register. Rely only on that register and nothing else, and you will be OK.
No rip off here.
