In yr. 2000, My husband aquired a large loan with BBT. He had no collateral so I was asked to put up my home which was appraised only at $19000.00. He was given a loan for around 80,000.00 I was told there upon signing that I was signing over only collateral. My husbands job folded and he defaulted on the loan. They accuried my home and they now tell me I owe the over amount. It seems that signed as a co applicant. It was a bald face lie from Mr. Long and ass. about just signing over collateral. My God, I didn't even have an income. I had never even worked a job that would allow me to make payments of 800.00 a month. It was just a lie. Now My credit is bad and I get harrassing phone calls and I have judgements against me.
