Bank of America Capital Mgmt say I owe them. I have been writing them stating that I don't but you can't fight a big bank like them. So I told them that I could pay them $20 a month until paid in full.

I have been trying to do this since December of last year. They didn't even have the courtesy of giving me a reply. Not until the middle of March of this year. Now they want to sue me. That was the only reply I got.

On the last papers I got the name on the last page wasn't even mine. I need a lawyer but I can't afford to pay for one. I'm on a fixed income (on disability & raising a 7yr great-grandchild) don't leave much.

At one time I did have an account with them until they messed up my direct deposit. They also messed up my Mother's account when they merged.

Who to contact

AUTHOR: Nancy - Flower Mound (U.S.A.)

You may want to contact either FDIC or Comptroller of the Currency...they should be able to give you phone numbers of Executive Consumer Relations, like they provided for me yesterday. In my situation, I battled with the bank for almost a week and got nowhere, but as soon as I contacted Comptroller of the Currency and the Executive Consumer Relations number for the bank, I was immediately apologized to and the issue resolved within hours. The Executive Consumer Relations agent was APALLED by what had happened, where nobody at Bank of America regular Customer Service seemed to care or listen. You might want to give it a try.
