Bank One, aka Chase Bank has a scheme to charge escessive fees for overdraft, no matter how small and they escalate those fees each and every day. They also refuse to close accounts and generate more fees. Chase/Bank One also plays games with delays in debits so that you will wind up with fees. They harrass me day and night with telephone calls after being told NOT to call. I have filed a complaint with the FTC also. Stay away from them unless you can afford to keep large balances in your account.

I am going through the same thing. They don't care for the people,, the workers of the bank -- wither we live or die ., just as long as they get there fees. how can they sleep at night...
They do a good job keeping us awake at night...
With all the complaints on Chase Bank you think someone would help us. Don't ever open with them again..

me too federal regulation e 205.11 is helping me a little this states that if you have a dispute on an eft like ach or debit card trans the institute must investigate and resolve , during the investigation they must refund all monies during that period then close your account when its zeroed

i'm not sure but hope it helps
