all year long i've been hit with one overdraft fee after another... whole paychecks gone without notification. money deposited and checks issued after deposits and that didn't matter... they would move the check ahead of the deposit. I was at the bank the other day... on both sides of me... two other people complaining of the same problems. they need to be federally investigate for there preditory overdraft issues. they have put me in fianacial ruin thousands of dollar later.

Advise...

Switch banks....preferably to a local credit union...which tend to not be as evil as big banks

If you're having trouble managing your account...do the following:

Use your bank account ONLY for depositing checks and cash and for withdrawing cash...Use money orders instead of writing checks. If you need to pay someone by check...withdraw the cash you need and buy a money order instead. Yes, it's time consuming but it will stop the avalanche of bounced checks.

Get rid of ANY automatic debits on your checking account...move them to a credit card...if you can't do this then get rid of the automatic debit...Auto debits can wreak havoc when you're tight on money. If this involves getting rid of cable or Netflix...do it...
