Almost two years ago I was contacted by the FNBM promising to reestablish my credit and give me a credit line of $2500 within 6 months. I sent them $100 to start a savinghs account. My available credit balance was about 30 dollars. My bill bill was getting higher and higher and more money per month was added to my card that I could not use. I began getting calls and demands to pay. They refused to close my account, and kept adding bogus charges to my account.
I stopped payments. Now they claim I owe them over $800 and constantly call, making threats, intimidating, and being rude. This happens all times of the day and night. When I try to explain that charges were added that shouldn't have been they yell, and become impossible to deal with. They even demanded the name of my lawyer.
I used this company in the 1st place because my divorce left my credit in a state of horror, and I needed to get it insome order for my childrens sake.
I am disabled on a very fixed income, I never expected they would just start adding all kinds of bogus charges to the account, and bring it to thep oint were every time I made a payment the total would go up. Now it been sent to a collection agency.
I just got section 8 housing and my baby girl is due to be born next week. I physically had to leave my home as my ex husband is very abusive and I could no longer live that way. I spent months being homeless, and the emotional abuse never stops. My state of NH does not take domestic abuse seriously. So you own yr own in that situation. I explained my situation to FNBM and thye refusal to cancle the card, the intimadition and a little of my personal situation Everything was futile.
This companyprays on the disadvantaged that have gone through a difficult to me financially, and misleads them and then becomes a nightmare. This world is very sad when companies feed on the poor to
