I receive disruptive phone calls stating that I haven't paid a bill, when I haven't purchased anything in over a year.
They are constantly calling my work and when I ask them to send me a statement they refuse.
They will not tell my the purchase date or the amount.

I have been charged late fees on late fees, which is considered pyramiding by the FTC and is illegal. Of course, Mervyn's tries to deny it it and infers that I am "stupid" and unable to "understand" how credit cards work. I clearly recognize "sleaze" when I see and hear it.
All my purchases and finance fees have been paid, but they harrass me at work,even when I have instructed them not to contact me there (which again is illegal).
I have tried talking with them and they talk over me, interrupt me, talk around the issues, etc. but will NEVER answer the questions I ask. Then, to try to be further intimidating, they hang up, after yelling at me about not listening to them (apparently they don't believe in a conversation being two-way situation). I had 3 "ladies" hang up on me the same day because they refused (or just didn't know) the information I requested. I also no longer receive statements, just dunning letters with huge fees due.
In my opinion, some of the people working for Mervyn's/Retailer's National Bank are lacking in decency and character.
At one time I was given a name of a Supervisor to contact, but I had to go through Customer Service no reach this individual, and C.S. would not place my calls, pretended not to know how to reach this person, etc. When you call Mervyn's/Retailer's National Bank your calls are automatically routed to either Arizona or Minnesota and each location claims not to know how to reach the other location. I don't think they even realize how ignorant they make themselves appear. And this is after they try to tell me in so many words that I am "stupid"!!
I will never shop Target, Mervyn's or Marshall's again because of their shoddy business transactions. They don't seem to realize that there are many businesses offering the same wares so consumers have lots of choices and opportunities to spend their money.
