Well I am pretty good about keeping track of my checking account and how much moula is in it last month i brought my account to 0.10 left in it and had to goto the doctor so i decided since i had no choice but to overdraft i would take out 200 dollars. boy was this a mistake they charged me 26.50 for the overdraft which i do owe due to i needed the money but here is the kicker. every transaction I had made using my debit card within the last 3 days was also charged a NSF fee. Their explanation was that it hadnt cleared the bank. When I made the transaction originally the money was in the bank 3 days later they went back and finalized the transaction claiming the money wasnt there even though it was preauthorized on my debit card that the money was there and basicaly charged me over 300 dollars in NSF fees. I called the bank and they wouldnt budge even though it was there originally it wasnt finalized. Get this one of those overdraft fees was for using an ATM wich was used on the 20th but didnt clear until the 23rd after my account was zero and causing me another overdraft. Now my point being debiting from your account in the past use to be instant. If you use the banks ATM to pull funds shouldnt that definetaly be instant. Well this is the second month I was unable to get credits for last month putting me behind 300$ and guess what thats money I need Since i get direct deposit i have no choice but to overdraft again and just looking at my account theyve managed to do the same thing again.

If the money was there when i made the transaction originaly how can they legally go back and due to now its finalized 3 days later charge me the NSF I even started using quicken this month because they told me i need to monitor my checking and guess what i monitored every transaction and the same exact thing happened this month it is pointless for me to call because ive already done this and was transfered muliple times to different branches and they acted like its my fault and this month i have proof on what was done even though it was clear that the same exact thing happened last month.

The point im trying to make is they can not justify an answer except its my fault due to lack of monitoring the account in all actuality there is a flaw in there system especially why does not the ATM transaction clear instantly using there ATM. Debit means to take it out automaticaly and not have to wait on the funds to clear like using a Credit card at a gas pump I am getting screwed my money is being stolen this month i will be short again and the banks are wondering why no one can pay their mortgages. there is a flaw in the system that needs to be addressed at midsouth and not automaticy assume its the customers fault. If it was my fault I would not even be wasting my time with this report.
