After Hurricane Katrina, National City Mortgage Made me pay back the three Month interuption immediately. other people got to put the payments on the back of their loan. I was not given that option. When I finally paid it off and my payments were to go back to the original; they forced insurance payments on me. I pay my insurance seperately from my mortgage. They told me when I called I had inadequete flood coverage. But i did because I paid it. So, I called them and asked them exactly how much I lacked. They said they couldn't answer that. Well, after calling for months to find out i never received a straight answer, even to the point that they would just hang up on me. I sent them what my regular mortgage amount was before the storm and they sent back my check saying it was not enough and not a certified check. A certified check, what a joke, I never heard of this, I never had to send them a certified check. Then one day I get a foreclosure letter from them. i immediatelly call them and all of a sudden they had the answer for me, I needed just $12,000.00 more in flood insurance. What's that less than $100.00 dollars a year. This cokpany lied to me, would not answer my questions, hung-up on me, Put me in foreclosure and in two weeks I'll be on the streets and they get a half million dollar home. My father fought from Omaha beach to Germany to have these nazi's steal my home. this nation is gone. No one want's to help and no one cares. I hope National City Mortgage bandits would be investigated and all sent to prison. So, much for having two college degrees and trying to be a good citizen. Oh, If they say they will work with you, no they won't. I thought I had things worked out with them while they creeped into the courts to put me in foreclosure. do not do business with these animals.
