Per the promotion terms when I signed up for my online account, I would receive a promotion credit within 5-7 business days after a $400 direct deposit was made.  Well the promotion was never activated with my account until after I called three times to address the issue.  It has been over 15 business days and the promotion still has not been credited and I have been told (again) that it will be another 5 days before it is credited.  So after calling at least 7 times already to find out the status of the issue, I'm still getting the same answer. I doubt it will be credited with this new "promise" of theirs.

So beware, they do not abide by their own terms and conditions. Thankfully, I didn't close my account with my old bank and will plan to fully switch back after the 180 days.

If they don't follow their own terms, I wonder what else they could rip you off with.

Cycle Date

AUTHOR: theHappyBanker - (United States of America)

Hi!  I've been answering the phones for nearly five years.  First, I really do apologize this hasn't been explained properly to you.  The credits appear as of your first statement cycle date after the direct deposit.  Your first statement should cut about thirty to thirty-five days after your account opening.  If it still does not credit, please give customer service a call at 888-PNC-BANK.  We deal with adding the correct coding if it is absent.  At times a 'direct deposit' will show like an incoming wire as well, so this may need handled manually.  I hope we have gotten this straightened out for you.  Happy Banking!
