I just received a bogus "Sweepstakes Winner" check in the amount of 4,875.00 in the mail which they said will pay for the applicable Government Taxes on my winnings. The letter also said that I am entitled to 250,000 US dollars from a 9 million US dollars that was shared and presented among the other 36 declared 2nd Category winners.

They also gave me a claim number: CFT/CA-0011.

Nothing has been taken out of my account. I suspected it was a scam and did not call the claim agent (MRS. Sandra Jackson)

Also the letter said that "When the winning is processed, you will receive your final check a lump sum payment of 245,125.00 this amount will be sent to you and delivered by FedEx.

It is also signed (not an actual signature) by Mrs. Brenda Hicks (Promotion Manager)

Again, nothing has been withdrawn from my account. I just want this scam to stop.
