I am so over the lies and the BS.  They hold money and play with it and then tell you, you are overdrawn.  and when you ask for an explanation they all talk down to you and everyone you speak to has a different reason. So what is the truth?  I wanted to close my account while it had a 0 balance I go in with cash for an overdraft fee that I was tired of arguing over because everyone of them lies.  I put the account at 0 and tell them "close it"  they tell me they can't until the paperwork is verified.. Are you kidding me?  isn't cash, cash?  I said I do not trust the bank.  I want it closed they refused.  I wake up in the morning and they have placed other fees on the account.  And I get another condescending moron named Joshua I had already dealt with the biggest a hole Andrew the day before I went to close it and the speak to you like you are an idiot.  I am so sick of this crap.  You loyalty gets you no where, your trying to be nice gets you nowhere.  And we bailed all these banks out. I am to the point I do not even want a bank account anymore.  I have been in retail for over 20 years.  let me tell you, you do whatever you can to make the customer happy.  They however do not!  Do Not Open an Account at US BANK.  they are ridiculous and they lie!

*Sigh*

Another person who didn't read the terms and conditions booklet that they signed for when they opened up the account.

Ok, here we go. The bank won't close the account for 10 business days after you make the request so as to make sure there aren't any items still outstanding when you tell them to close it. (paper checks and debit card transactions not yet cleared.)

If you actually took 30 seconds to read the documentation associated with your account, you would've known that and spared yourself the embarrassment of posting a false ROR.

The bank doesn't overdraft accounts. Customers do.
