Tuesday December 30, 2008 I made a cash deposit in person at my branch. Wednesday December 31, 2008 my check card was declined when I swiped it to make a purchase. Wachovia regularly mishandles deposits and is quick to dodge responsibility.

The first time this happened was April 2008 and I blamed the branch. I've had the same thing happen three times since. I've spent countless hours on the phone with Wachovia and countless hours paper trailing things Wachovia could not figure out for themselves. I should be punching a time clock and getting paid for this!

A few questions for you...

AUTHOR: Striderq - Columbia (U.S.A.)

What time was the deposit made?
What state did you open your account in?
What items posted on 12-30-08 that may have used the deposit you made?

With the information you gave I'm not sure why the things you described happened. If your deposit was after cutoff, it still should have been available on 12-31-08. If it was before cutoff, it would have been available to cover anything posting on 12-30-08. I'm sorry to hear of the problems, but with more information may be anle to help you avoid this in the future.

My deposit receipt that the teller handed to me verifies the following details:
Cash in 12/30/08
Available balance $1103.52
Date: 12/30/08
Time: 4:39pm
Calender date: 12/30/08
Deposit effective date: 12/30/08

I've emailed a copy of of this deposit receipt to the administrators of this site twice asking them to attach it to this report.
