Wachovia robbed me again just like practically every month!!! This happened from Thurs to Tues. Five check/debit purchases (one for $2.12) showed online and on the phone as paid on Thurs and by Tues were reversed to pay out a larger transaction that had been unauthorized and returned unpaid previously. Wachovia charged me $35 the first time the second time they paid the unauthorized transaction and charged me $35 overdraft, reversed all five small purchases first then charging me $35 for each for a grand negative of $320.00. Their answer-We pay out larger amts first to help people get their mtg pymts first...right...the unauthorized amt was $52. A Mtg??? Yes, yes, yes, we need to start a CA. I live in Charlotte, NC. E me.

Stop relying on online, phone and atm transactions and balances for they are not accurate - the only way to keep a positive balance is with a check register and balancing your monthly statement period
Stop blaming the bank for YOUR irresponsibility - as far as a class action GOOD LUCK!

I learned a long time ago when B.B. & T. bought out my bank never to deal with a large bank. Go to Carolina Metro Credit Union on Central or First Trust Bank on Rexford Road, Southpark, or the main branch near CCCP. You will always lose with a large bank because most are incompetent or crooked and they will always win because the government needs them, TARP anyone. Use Mircrosoft Money to track your checking accounts and I never use a debit card because humans sometimes are forgetful.

- I have a feeling that this is the primary reason you are not having issues with your new bank. Because a majority of the people that have problems suffer from the same thing. They use their debit card for every small purchase they can, and they don't keep track of their balance. You don't have to go as far as not using your debit card, or using a program to manage your account. But if people just kept track how it works for them, the fees that they are paying because they are overdrafting would just disapear.
