Wells Fargo said we were approved for a loan to buy our first house and Wells Fargo had me pay for two appraisals, made repairs to the home and put untilites in my name then after 3 long mos they decide to declai Stow , Ohio

My Husband and I had applied for a loan with wells fargo bank for a home for our family. Wells Fargo had approved us for a house which we find. We started the process of gathering up all the documents needed to close the deal. The realtor and Wells Fargo both acted like everything was great we paid $420.00 for an appraisal and they had me put the utilities in our name, put mail box up. Wells Fargo started to ingore our calls stating they were busy because of their conversion with Wachovia and they were really back up but was working on our loan before we knew it the house was put back on the market and for less money and someone else bid on it. Wells Fargo said that we need to find another house and they would just change the address and continue with the loan.  I was to receive a credit on the loan app for the last house that we had made bid on. So we found another home which we were real excited about paid for another appraisal $420.00 and got another pre approval letter after 3 mos and about 1500.00 Wells Fargo declined our loan the same week we were to close on the loan. All I asked for is my funds for the appraisals be returned to me but Wells Fargo refused to give them back to us.
