World Savings ruined credit closed acct without notice cause reneged on resolution agreement Ontario California

World Savings closed my checking account without notice although there were no problems or irregularities with my account. They closed the account because my name showed up on CheckSystems as a result of an error on the part of another bank. The other bank rescinded the report, but World Savings closed my account anyway, with 13 checks outstanding.

The Ontario branch manager of World Savings, Celia Duffy, agreed twice to leave the account open if she received a fax indicating the report had been rescinded. She received that fax half an hour after she requested it, but closed the account anyway. She also repeatedly stated I could reopen the account once the fax had been received, but when I tried to reopen the account, she refused.

Celia Duffy not only reneged on agreements she made with me, but on the same arrangements she made with the representative of Sterling Savings, who was attempting to help me resolve the problem with World Savings.

There was plenty of money in the account. There were no problems with the account until World Bank created one. Now my checks are bouncing like rubber balls and I'm looking at over $300.00 in NSF fees. RUN don't walk away from World Savings as fast as you can!
