American Publications Has not responded since I sent money in Oct 2008 -What kind of business are you? New Haven Connecticut

This company must be a scam and it stinks they would take advantage of hard working americans that want to do an honest side job from home.  At first I thought that was weird to send $40 to get started but figured hey thier letter is really convincing and says 90 Day Risk Free Guarantee which can be fully refunded.  So anyways I sent in a money order for the $40 after the first phone call that you have to leave your name and address on so they can send you the registration packet.  By they way thier ad was in our local Penny Saver in Southern CA.  I tell you what please do not let them fool you as they did me and probably many others....I sent the money back in Oct  2008 and have not heard from them....the scary thing it thier voice mail is still set up for callers to leave address.  There is no way I have been able to contact them to ask for refund or see what the delay is in them sending the materials they promised to send to start working on the side from home.  I thought there was something about mail fraud for someone that is operating a business like this.  This should not be tolerated and somehow I would think is illegal.  Maybe if enough people report this the media would get involved in exposing this SCAM!!!!! These kind of people should be brought to justice.  Please save your $$$$$ and do not be led to believe this is a real company.
