I placed an order through Buy.com, a company I have always been pleased with, only to find out that the order went through a third party, ANTOnline.com.

Yikes!

I had read a lot of bad stuff about ANTOnline.com and immediately canceled my order only to discover that Buy.com wouldn't let me cancel the order.

Well I went to ANTOnline.com's website for their contact info. I immediately sent a cancellation request to support@antonline.com. They replied within a few hours saying that they would try to stop the order before it entered the shipping process.

Two days later I got an email from them saying that the order had been shipped.

Oh my!

I did not accept delivery of the order and the USPS returned it to ANTOnline.com, or one of their dropshippers. I heard nothing from them so I dropped them an email.

They replied that they would issue me a refund.

A day later I got an email from Buy.com saying that ANTOnline.com had issued me a refund of $7.70.

WTF!

They owe me $19.50 more.

They flat out took my money. They stole from me!

I have been calling them several times a day to get this grand theft straightened out. So far they aren't budging but I can tell they are getting very annoyed with me.

I have spoken with every customer service representative at ANTOnline.com and it's funny how they all think a like. One rep, Ned, told me that he would give my story to his supervisor. Later, on another call, Ned told me he was the supervisor.

Go figure.

I filed a complaint about ANTOnline.com with the BBB in Georgia but I doubt that it will do any good since they already have an unsatisfactory record with the BBB as a result of ignoring customer complaints.

I'm disappointed with Buy.com. I have been a satisfied customer for many years, occasionally canceling an order and getting a full refund with no questions asked.

Now they are letting a competitor ruin their reputation all for a small percentage of ANTOnline.com's sales. And that just doesn't make sense.

I will continue to call ANTOnline every business day. I will hound them until they return my $19.50. It's the principal of the matter more than anything. They think they can treat people any ole way they please and get by with it.

Well, I say it's time to fight back!
