I also received a collection letter from National Recovery Agency in Harrisburg PA. I immediately called the company and spoke to Rudy/Collection Representative. He claimed that I ordered a CD back in 2007. I tried to explain to him that I never placed an order from BMG Music in 2007 and the address they have on file is wrong. The representative still insisted that I owed this debt and if I did not pay up my information will be reported to the credit bureau. I told the representative that the charges were fraudulent that I am disputing these charges. Also, I'm going to contact the Better Business bureau to file a complaint against their company. The rep just hung up and didn't offer any resolution to my problem.
How can I resolve this problem? I do not want this company to ruin my credit.
