Debt Recovery Solutions Total Liars and Rip Off Scam Artist Westbury New York

I paid an account for Embarq through Debt RECOVERY Solutions in August 2008. I settled the account for $305. I received an email from the company saying that it was settled.

September 25 I called and asked for a letter stating that it was paid. I was told that it was mailed out on the 23rd. I called back on September 30 and was told that I owe the remaining $95. I am totally pissed b/c they claim I owe them money and I don't.

Not to mention I am closing on a house in a couple of days is this account is stopping me from closing. This company is full of crap. They have ripped me and many other people off.

I have contacted the Better Business Bureau about their unfair practices. I am also going to contact the news stations.
