When I received the telephone call from Platinum Advantage it appeared as if I had already spoken with them and that I had been pre-approved for the credit card. I was asked if I would be using the card to restore my credit and I said, yes.
Due to the fact that I was distracted when I received the phone call I ignored the way they said that they did not/would not do a credit check. I ignored the little voice in my head and proceeded with the payment fee.
I was told that I would have my card within 7 to 14 days and I have not received it yet not even after a follow-up phone call to them. I think it was at the time of the follow-up call I knew I had been taken.
I never talk to or give anyone any information over the phone but this time I did and I am pixxed off.
