I have been a consumer of Old Navy/GE Money Bank for quite a while. A few weeks ago, I received a notice that my credit limit had been lowered from $400 to $100 dollars. I was not mad, I really did not care. After I made an online payment before the due date of my bill, I called Old Navy to ask what was going on. I asked the operator if I had ever made a late payment on this account or if my account had ever been diliquient. I was not rude, I did not cuss, but the woman on the other line gave me attitude. She cut me off and stated that before she could answer my question that she must inform me that if my payment was not made on time, that I would have a late fee. 1. I have never had a late payment with this company. 2. She could have use some polite manners if she was supposed to tell me this information. My credit is not great, but I pay my bills. I told the woman to cancel my card and that I would not be doing business with Old Navy or any of their sister stores. A store should treat all customers with respect- especially those that pay on time. Thanks for helping me to find a competitor that actually appreciates my hard earned money.

Not Old Navy's fault

As an employee of Old Navy for 3 years, it's important to know that the problems you had are in no way directly related to Old Navy or any branch of Gap Inc. GE Money Bank is in charge of managing cards for many different stores including Gap Inc and American Eagle. Refusing to shop at Gap Inc brands won't help to fix your problem, as it wasn't their fault in anyway. Even I must admit as an employee of Old Navy that GE Money Bank has issues with it's credit cards.
