I purchased a sweet cavapoo from happiness is pets in Oak Lawn two days ago. I was unaware of where these poor puppies actually come from. I did my research on the breeder and found it was Steven Kruse a known puppy mill owner. I was disgusted with what I saw about this mans puppy mill and mills across the world. Lilly (my cavapoo) has kenel cough and breathes heavy. I called Happiness is pets and asked for a name of the vet who supposedly gave lilly her vaccinations listed on her health record. They have no answer for me at the time besides that the breeder may have done it? Really, does this puppy mill abuser have a vet license? Im curious to know.. I am currently waitng for an answer from the store, and what i do know is these poor puppies live a rough life in these mills and not to mention all the sick dogs in them at the moment. These dogs are helpless and dont deserve it. I am disgusted that I gave my money to this scumbags business..but I am glad I saved Lilly and can get her the right medical attention who knows what would have happened to her if I didnt find her.

 I  have seen inside  steve kruse and I am fed up with all u  people talking shit about puppy mills when u have never seen one steve has spent his whole life loving and taking care of thos dogs he has the young ones in his house so he can watch them all u fucking people see is what is on tv watch is a crap all the dogs have heat and a/c they live better than some one in a 3 world country so now u dubm fucker will not listin but untill u have seen his place u should shut the fuck up and if u think anilmals are people to then go back to school because they are not they do not pay taxes like me and maby u but who knows you could be a God dam mother fucking low life who wants every thing for free like that no good oboma

Well, your are only about two years late on responding here.  Anyway, your  right that my info came from the internet and nope I've never been to the guys house, but apparently you have.  I know what I read and what I saw, and it was not pretty. I find it hard to believe that everything out there is a lie! I have no need to go back to school, but maybe you do because it seems as though you don't know how to spell.  THANK YOU sherlock for informing me dogs arn't people.. I didnt know that?  But I do know they have feelings somewhat like people.  So if you consider yourself human you know what I mean here!  I thank God I am not from a 3rd world country, and that I am able to take care of my dogs. You ignorant individual.  I have now wasted 5 minutes of my day responding to your stupid comment.
