Talent Hunter Misleading Practices and Charges Sherman Oaks California

I had signed up for a ONE MONTH ONLY membership because I had received a response from a “supposed” casting director and was told I could only contact that person if I had a membership. So, thats why I signed up just to see what the casting director had to say. Oddly, however, once I signed up and was able to actually send her an email I NEVER heard from her again. Hmmmm.I wonder how many people that happens to every day? Obviously, I'm not the only one based on the Rip Off reports already posted. Wish I had checked first!

The Talent Hunter website indicated that I could sign up for only 1 month and that was my intention. So, when I requested to cancel after seeing another $29.99 charge on my credit card I was told to read the Terms of Service only to discover that I was on a monthly contract and that I cant even dispute the charge with my credit card company or theyll charge me $100. Wow!!

I was sent an email by the Cancellation Department with a link to cancel online. When I filled out the reason for cancellation and clicked cancel, Database Access Error came up every time. I tried to submit it without putting the reason in but then it says I have to put areason in and then the error page an endless circle. So, they make it impossible to cancel online!

Next I tried to send a fax but the fax number in the Terms of Service is wrong. Not a surprise. I finally found another fax number online and it did actually work. I haven't had a response yet but I'm looking for other ways to report them. This company must make millions from their deceptive practices.
