Wells Fargo Auto Finance Wells Fargo Auto Finance...Fee Crazy! Phoenix, Arizona

I made my auto payment this month.  I just happened to look at the description of the payment by Wells Fargo; payment by phone.  It said:

Wells Fargo Bank Phone Pay Fee Assessment                  $12.00
Payment of Wells Fargo Bank Phone Pay Fee Assessment  $12.00

Charging me a fee for paying a fee?  Sounds like something's rotten in Denmark! (or might I say- Wells Fargo Auto loan.)

How hard is it to pay by automated phone?  I do it all the time when I pay for utilities, or cable,etc. But not with Wells Fargo Auto Finance.

Wells Fargo is taking advantage of the many customers who call in to make a payment by charging these outrageous fees.  I shouldn't be penalized for paying my bill on time; much less being charged twice-even if it is by phone.

I believe these are bogus fees.  I might have believed them if it was just one fee, but two?  Maybe this should be reported to the BBB or the Attorney General. 

Something has to be done about these companies who charge a fee for paying a fee...does that even make sense?  Anyone who can give me some feedback on this issue is more than welcome.
