I received 2 round trip tickets with 2 hotel nights from a timeshare presentation for Worldwide Travel Center. I have followed the exact instructions on the redemption of the certificate. Worldwide Travel Center has sent it back to me over half a dozen times requesting "bogus" information on my end.
One time, it was incorrect dates and the dates were not incorrect nor did they fall within holidays. Another time, they requested two IDs and the instructions do not ask for two IDs. Another time, it was two Credit Cards and the instructions do not ask for two credit cards. Yet another time, the date issue came up again and they approved that the second time it was sent back. This last time was the most 'bogus' of excuses. They cited the certificate was only good for two round trips and 2 nights which was clearly what I was redeeming it for from the start.
When I called them up, they wanted it sent back certified mail with no changes on my part. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said she was the supervisor with no last name for me to document. I asked for a legal department and she said there was no legal department for complaints. I asked her to send me back my already deposited money and certified. She said it will be 3 weeks and it won't be certified. Funny how I can send it in certified over half a dozen times and they can't accomodate. They can however wear you out until you are so frustrated and realize they will never honor their certificates. Now I truly wonder if I am going to get my money back as they were both money orders. WHAT A HUGE SCAM. WITH OVER 45 COMPLAINTS ON THIS SITE ALONE, I WONDER WHY THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS.
