You & Me Findings Double-Dipping San Gabriel California

These people took $39.83 from my bank account without my permission or my knowledge. When I discovered the withdrawl I looked them up on the internet and got a phone number and called them. They speak broken English and nobody knew anything. I told the story of what they did to TWO different people and the first thing they wanted was my credit card number. When I wouldn't give it to them, they told me to call back in an hour.

I called back and had to tell my story all over again to another person who again said the person I needed to talk to would be in in an hour. This time I left my phone number. I was in a business meeting when they called me and left a message to call Jimi - no response to my inquiry, just call back - a complete waste of time.

When I did call back for Jimi, I was told he wasn't there - they made me tell my story all over AGAIN. Several phone calls later, a Jimi called and asked what I wanted!! I told him for the FIFTH time, he said he would call me back.

He eventually called that evening and you won't believe what he said. It seems that they have a brick & mortar store in San Gabriel CA but they also travel with "The Gem Show". I made a purchase from them in March 2008 at the San Diego Gem Show with my debit card. The charge went through my account in a couple of days. He said "we use wireless equipment at the trade shows and then our accountant sometimes duplicates the charges". Five months later? I said no, that's called theft, you must put through a credit immediately. He said he would but that it would take a few days.

I'm not waiting to tell whomever this message can reach to beware and do not do business with these people. All day, numerous phone calls and they acted like I was harrassing them when they were robbing me.

I have shopped at the Gem Show for years and years and this is the very first and only time this has happened. Just goes to show you how the world is changing. Beware of double-dippers....
