Product was purchase as a gift for my fiance and me. We feel that this gift is way too expensive for our need so we request to get a refund back in the same form of payment. As stated in Zales website "The store associate will process your return. Refund will be credited to the same form of payment in your original purchase." When we first went to a Zales store in Main Place mall the reps stated im sorry we dont have enough cash please call a different store to see if they have enough cash. So we oblidge to do what they told us we tried calling other store and each store gave us a different answer and the runaround. The worst part is one store from "Laguna Hills Mall" assistant manager name "Leslie" actually accused us of stealing the watch and return it for a refund. <--- This is unbelieveable I would never stay such thing to anyone even if this is hypothetical trying to turn the table and making the customer feel like it is there fault. This is by far the worst customer service I EVER had in my entire life. I will never do business with this company nor will all the people that I will talk to about this incident.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

sounds to me

AUTHOR: Nancy - Steilacoom (U.S.A.)

It sounds to me like you are trying to scam the person who gave you the watch. Were you planning on giving the money bak to the person? He/she should actually return the watch then get your winny ass something else. How do you know they paid cash?

#2 Consumer Comment

More info please

AUTHOR: Peter - Pony (U.S.A.)

I find it interesting how you mention being accused of stealing the watch, yet coincidentally leave out any indication that you did in fact have a receipt for your purchase.

Did you indeed have a receipt (proof of purchase)? Or were you attempting to return a very expensive watch with no proof of purchase?

UPDATE

AUTHOR: Cloudle77 - Tustin (U.S.A.)

Excuse me for leaving out the Reciept, which we do have the Reciept in hand and my fiancee dad paid cash for and stated on the reciept as cash!. The watch is a gift for our birthday which is in june and july. Her dad live in texas and we live in california and felt that this would be a great opportunity for him to buy us a gift and give it to us when his plan stop in california for a fews hours. So we drove to Lax to meet him for lunch and get the gift before his plane take off for Europe. You guys can wish not to believe me but I work for in the customer service industry and this is by far the worst experience ever. I file this report to the Better business Bureaus.

Zales refund policy

AUTHOR: Mase84 - Bradenton (U.S.A.)

1st i apologize for the bad information that the store associates gave you, it was not your responsability to run around other stores to try to get a refund, nor was it the assistant managers place to make assumptions. now the zales refund policy does state that refunds are to be given in the same form as the payment for the purchase (exclusion: if return is over 200 dollars or there is not enough cash in the till, then a refund will be issued in the form of a go check that will be mailed to either the store or the customers house within 10 business days.) unfortunately the stores never have very much cash on hand because now and days with credit cars and debit cards being so popular, people dont use too much cash in jewelry stores
