Iman Cosmetics BAD, DRY ROTTED MAKEUP! NUMEROUS RETURNS, COMPANY REFUSES TO RETURN CALLS!! Internet, New York

I was excited to find a cosmetic brand that was targeted for women of color and endorsed by Iman, an experienced person in the fashion and beauty industry.  Each time (more than 4) I bought the Second-to none Foundation (at $15.99/ea) it was bad product.  It stuck to the sponge and would not come off onto my face.  The "wet/dry" version was also bad.  I had to do way too much pulling to apply the makeup and it seemed dried out. 

I carefully selected a color match and bought a couple of them just so I'd be close or exactly matched to my complexion.  I returned the items several times to the store AND called the company to complain but it's just an "information line".  You cannot speak to a person to report an issue.  I also left my name and phone number TWICE but have gotten NO RESPONSE!.  I am highly disappointed about this company and like a similar complaint on here this is just unacceptable.  

It's amazing how they went to great lengths to create a polished, bold and very colorful website and then produce inferior products.  What's worse is not caring that the customers are satisfied or caring about whether the product is living up to it's hype!   

As much as Iman has talked about her years "suffering" as a model by not having a satisfactory foundation for her particular skin tone, I would think she would extend that concern to her targeted customers and MAKE SURE her product with her name measures up!  I feel disrespected AND ROBBED!   We are, after all paying for these products that you endorse.  

Unfortunately, I just couldn't take it any more and will not buy any Iman products going forward.  It's not worth the hassle.  I truly wanted to support the Iman cosmetics products because the  shades were such a great match.  However, I would rather spend my hard earned money on a good product by a company that cares how their products are doing and don't mind hearing from the people who are buying the products.  

It's a disgrace that the company's business ethics do not match the high standard and professionalism I thought would come with Iman's name and reputation.
