SEMI PERMANENT MAKE-UP @ BOOTHZ- A Truly, Horrible and Traumatic Experience! :(

I went to Boothz to have semi permanent makeup done on my lips and brows to give a bit more colour and definition to these areas, as i am quite fair-skinned...now i really wish i hadn't! :(

At first consultation, the highly-botoxed, practicioner and owner, 'A', was plausably nice and friendly, but while in the chair and also, once money was exchanged, she turned into a totally different, un-caring, impatient person.

While having the procedure done, 'A' also pursuaded me to have my top and bottom eye-liner done at a discounted price, a saving for having all of the treatments, but no discount was actuallly ever given in the end. This resulted in costing me the best part of £1000 and being treated with such rudeness and disregard, that I would be certainly unhappy to return.

The eye-liner/lip-liner was really painful as she pressed down very hard and used no anasthetic...probably to save money...nor did she anesthetise my brows, causing me to bleed and be in discomfort and my eyes to water heavily. My lips also had obvious gaps, it did not look finished or like it had been done properley.

My watering eyes made 'A' irritated and impatient, causing her to be very short and rude with me, scolding me as if i was a naughty school-child- as if i could stop my eyes watering!

Towards the end of my session, she also called in a receptionist, aged all of 21-who had already had botox!-to re-inforce her belief that i really needed to have botox as soon as possible, as well! talk about cross-selling!!! I am not even 30! :@ How rude! But it gets worse...

Initally sore, but relieved to be out of the bitchy salon, i realised within ten days of healing that there were definite, patchy gaps of skin left in between my eyebrows, which i had to pencil in myself. Also my eye and lip liner did not look complete with distinct breaks in the lines of colour, resulting in an un-even appearence and one eye looked distinctly darker than the other!

I rang the salon to arrange for a touch-up appointment where i hoped she would finish off the job and make it look even. 'A' answered with attitude and hurriedly told me that the healing process was not yet over and that i was worrying un-neccessarily...reluctantly, she booked me in for the following week. I could tell that she really couldn't be bothered seeing me again and doing a proper job and was proven right again at my next appointment. I had paid in cash and no proper receipt was given and she didn't want to finish the job.

On arrival she treated me as though i was deluded and lying, barely checking over her handy work with glazed eyes and shaking her head saying she thought it looked fine and that it was it waste of time me being there! Reluctantly, and with some sighing and defensive attitude, she mumbled- she do some of it.

Throughout this session, i felt very uncomfortable. She was cold and rude, barely speaking to me and abrupt, nasty and impatient in manner. On asking if she'd just fill in an obvious gap on my brow, she behaved really bizarely, taking it all very personally as though i had insulted her 'work'. At one point she slammed the door and walked off in a huff and left me sitting there for a few minutes, not knowing if i should stay or go! :( At this point, a fellow beauty therapist- employee and acquaintance, gestured and rolled her eyes in acknowledgement of 'A's' rude, odd behaviour! She had witnessed her mood and appeared to be equally as shocked as i was.

On asking her to finish my lip line, she raved about having to open another file of colour, and what it would cost her in time and products! She said i could book another appointment for this to be completed but id have to pay £70 extra!!!! She also ranted, in no un-certain means, that she didn't want to see me again and have to do it all again! Charming and proffessional!-not. If she had done it properley the 1st time, i wouldnt have had to come back the 2nd time? i certainly did not expect to be asked to pay extra for this privelidge! :@

Had she had a bad day, or a bad month...? Regardless, I certainly didn't deserve to be treated this badly, especially not after parting with such a large sum of money and putting my face in her care!

I felt like crying and I did when i left.

My brows, eyes and lips have still not been properley finished to this day, and my eyes and lips still look un-even and rubbish.

I certainly would not reccomend this lady or this clinic!

This is a Complete Fabrication of the Events

AUTHOR: Christian Booth - Timperley (United Kingdom)

We are not sure why Miss FB is filing this libellous report a year after the event. We are well aware of who this individual is and so rest assured we have passed the article to our solicitor for the offensive and libellous personal remarks that it contains, so they will be pursuing this individual in the courts for damages.

We are also amazed that Rip Off Report allows such unproven and damaging material to appear on their site without the use of moderators as respectable sites do and has flatly refused to remove these reports even when they are proved to be false. Perhaps it is because they are based in the United States and they feel immune from UK legislation. However, as the only recourse as regards this website is concerned is to file a rebuttal, here goes.

1. Miss B underwent treatment for permanent creation to her lips, eyebrows and eyeliner but had insufficient funds for the treatment.

2. Miss B was advised of the possible complications that could occur after treatment and signed a consent form to show that she understood this. Pigment can reject from the skin for many reasons.

3. Miss B was treated with anaesthetic cream before her treatment.

4. After the procedure, Miss B was given advice on allowing the skin to heal before any touch up procedures were performed. If the touch up is performed before the skin has had time to heal there can be possible pigment rejection.

5. However, a few days later Miss B phoned the salon and extremely rudely demanded that a touch up be performed immediately as she wasn't happy that some of the pigment had been rejected from the skin, again a possibility that she had been fully informed may happen. Again Miss B ignored the professional advice given to her and demanded the touch up.

6. When Miss B attended this appointment, she was exceptionally rude and highly vocal of her criticism of the therapist. (A therapist with 20 years experience, who is well known in the area and held in very high regard by her peers in the profession, and teaches beauty therapy at a local college !). We have several witnesses to this who will confirm who the rude party actually was and certainly no doors have ever been slammed - yet again another figment of Miss B's highly active imagination.

Finally, we would like to add that Boothz Beauty Clinic is a well established and very successful salon with hundreds of very satisfied, long term clients. Our reputation has been earned through hard work and In the rare event that a client has cause to make a complaint, they can contact the salon by normal means and their complaint will be dealt with in a professional manner and rectified to both parties satisfaction. To do so by trying to drag the salon's and personnels names through the mud, one year later, anonymously via various websites is simply not acceptable and will not be tolerated and our solicitor agrees.

Boothz-The Facts In Response...

AUTHOR: makeupgeek - altrincham (United Kingdom)

Dear Christian Booth,

The results of this botched and un-finished, permanent make-up -performed by Boothz of Hale- are sadly and disappointingly, highly visible everyday of my life
-on my face- so perhaps you can understand why it would still bother me, one year on?

As you Christian, have never met me- nor were you present throughout the horrible, bitchy, two-part ordeal I have endured at the hands of your partner, it is incredible that you have alot of falsifications to say about me personally.

Your pathetic dossier of lies in your account and deformation of my good character - a local resident and valued customer- is a sad attempt on your behalf to cover up your partner's poor work and highly unprofessional behavior.

I am sure you would prefer for me to not to mention the bullying, humiliation, bitchiness and highly unprofessional behavior I have experienced at your business-nor talk about the excessive exchange of money I have paid you-fact-without a receipt being issued in acknowledgment-fact.
-And we are not talking pocket money- you have had the best part of £1000 cash from me!-which was a gross price increase from the original 'package' quotation-agreed.

For someone who professes to teach 'beauty therapy' at the local college-does not make them a highly skilled nor qualified and experienced, facial tattoo-artist. My unfinished and poorly-done eyes and eyebrows can testify.
Fact.
To suggest my account is ''false'' or ''fabricated'' is a really pathetic attempt to cover up actual events and dishonor my good name.

**The facts are as follows;

*There is obvious and un-finished, poorly-done permanent tattoo work on my face,

*No receipt has been given to acknowledge the large sum you have received,

*The procedure was a traumatic and painful experience,

*Permanent makeup procedures were carried out with insufficient anesthetic, causing unnecessary pain and discomfort,

*No apology has been given for the un-finished, poor tattoo work- nor bitchy, intimidating behavior 'A' has exhibited,

*Bullying, disturbing behavior was displayed by 'A' to make returning for further work/treatments uncomfortable-ensuring I wouldn't want to approach her for a refund,

*No attempt to rectify the shoddy, PERMANENT tattoo work-on my face has been made to this day. The visable results do not lie.

These are the facts. Do with them as you please.
