I purchased bathroom remodeling from a franchisee of Luxury Bath Systems who gave me a warranty of 5 years for workmanship and material defects. The franchisee then went out of business and when I contacted the franchisor, (they say they are NOT the "parent company" so I will call them "the franchisor".) they told me they are not resposible and are under absolutely no obligation to honor the warranty that was given by their franchisee. I simply needed a problem fixed with the seal around the drain of my tub that was caused by poor workmanship during installation.

They at no time even bothered to ask what I wanted from them. The person I talked to there immediately started treating me like I had done something wrong by even contacting them over the matter. He was extremely hostile and rude. He never asked what they could do to help remedy the situation at all. He just immediately started telling me how they weren't going to do anything at all to help me and I was just out of luck as to getting anything done and the warranty was worthless. I would have been satisfied with the material to fix it and I would have done it myself. It would have involved mailing me a tube of color matched sealer but they didn't even bother to ask what I wanted done.

Nobody from the company has since contacted me even though I have filed complaints with several agencies including the BBB. In my opinion this company has the worst customer service that I have ever had the displeasure to come in contact with and I consider them to be disreputable and would recommend that anyone wanting this type of work done use a different company.

Luxury Bath of Spokane, Boise and Reno

I was an employee of Alan Hansen and Michael Laub, the former owners of Re-Bath of Spokane and Re-Bath of Northern Nevada. These two now own Luxury Bath of Spokane, Luxury Bath of Reno and now Luxury Bath of Boise.

For some odd reason, the one day acrylic bath remodeling industry seems to draw more than it's share of flakes. In this case it is a former Walkman salesman and an accountant, with no experience in home remodeling, construction, contracting, let alone bath remodeling.

These two rascals will try whatever they can, skirting on the edge of the law, to increase profits. My other posts detail their activities, all of which are well documented.

As a result of my other posts, Alan Hansen has resorted to anonymous and libelous posts regarding my character. These post are on this forum, craigslist and others.

Anyone considering this type of bath remodel should carefully check out the local franchise and the owners of that concern. My own experience with Re-Bath of Spokane made me sick. It is unbelievable that the sales personal as well as the owners would so blatantly lie about the terms of the warranty, which they did.

Mr. Davie, should know that there are owners of not only Re-Bath and Luxury Bath, but also Bath Fitter that are good, decent individuals that are trying to provide a needed service at fair price. I personally know several of them.
