On August 24, 2009, my citibank credit card was billed for $199.95 from Personal Gains @ 1-800-889-7835. I was surprised to see this charge on my monthly statement and called this number only to be referred to their billing department's fax number @402-661-2515 to submit cancelation of this phantom account that I did not charge.

Apparently this company has access to private information from similar citibank cardholders who has reported the  frustrating same problem of trying to figure out who placed unauthorized charges on their accounts from this same company.

I have cancled my credit card to prevent this from hopefully happening again in the future. NOTICE TO ALL CITIBANK CARDHOLDERS...PLEASE CHECK YOUR MONTHLY STATEMENTS FOR CHARGES FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST FOR POSSIBLE CHARGES FROM PERSONAL GAINS.
