I am VERY ANGRY that Bettie Carmack is abusing her office as an assistant to the Attorney General: Troy King and I feel the media and Troy Kings office should be informed about her behavior and slander on these boards.

It makes the Office of the Alabama Attorney General look bad. She attacked someone I know whom is a chemo-therapy patient and I know God will punish her for it. Like I said her behavior is very un-professional for someone working for the Attorney Generals office.

She is attempting to ruin reputations of honest people, making snap judgements and stigmatizing them for life by her slander. All documentation has been turned over to my personal attorneys office and we are very close to file on her and since she is employed by the Attorney General their office too. Troy King needs to know and the media needs to get involved. At this point as I said we are very close to filing suit.

My name is Bettie Carmack. I have no idea who "Tommy" or "Andrew" are as stated in this report. I have no idea what "Tommy" or "Andrew" claimed I have done to them.

I have tried unsuccessfully to get the owner of this site to remove my name from this report. After extensive research, it has been determined that it is unlikely that the owner of the site will remove this false/erroneous information about me.

I did additional research on this site and noticed that "Tommy" filed a report regarding "Joyce Vondran" and he called Joyce "Bettie." I know this may be a coincidence, but I find it hard to believe that "Tommy of Montgomery, Alabama" posted about another Bettie on the exact same day he posted this libelous post about me.

I looked up "Joyce Vondran's" name on www.anywho.com and her phone number used to be: "334-271-6173." That used to be my telephone number in 2003. I don't know if this person has me mixed up with Joyce Vondran, but, if Bettie Carmack did something to "Tommy" or "Andrew" I would like to know what it is I did.

Tommy or Andrew, I sincerely hope you do file the lawsuit. I plan to counterclaim for defamation and libel. In addition, I plan to file action against "Tommy Doe" and "Andrew Doe" to seek the assistance of a court to determine who exactly posted this information about me on this website.

If you have a problem with Joyce Vondran, you need to confine your posts to Joyce Vondran. I have no connection to a Joyce Vondran and I don't know a Tommy or an Andrew.

In fact, Andrew claims he is from Mobile. I haven't been to Mobile (other than going to Orange Beach or Gulf Shores) in 5 or 10 years.

If an update to this report is not posted clarifying exactly what I did to you or stating that you erroneously mixed me up with someone else, I plan to fully explore all the legal remedies available to me.

The "truth is" you have made numerous reports on this site about others this last year.Slanderous defamation. (You) are the one hurting others on this site. You did it. You didn't care about them? You could care less. You knew this was on a world wide search engine and you knew you used there names to slander & Defame & Inflict emotioanl harm to them! You instigated all this upon yourself. You do work for the Alabama Attorney Generals office but it doesn't give you the right to purchase Ebay items from people and then turn around and slander them on a national search engine. Ebay isn't worth ruining a persons reputation for life as you have done to others on here. You could have left negative feedback on there ebay site are if you didn't like what you got from them you could have asked them for a refund. But you did not. If you paid by paypal as most people do, you could have canceled your paypal transaction but you did not. You chose to slander them and defame and emotionally harm them on a national search engine many times by using there names in this public forum. Yes it does reflect badly on the Attorney Generals office and Andrew is right Troy King needs to know about your behavior on this site and the harm and defamation you have caused many. The F.B.I. needs to be involved to. The "Truth Is" you have been using this site alot to hurt others whom you have purchased ebay items from and your angry because you have been exposed.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am not going to let people be taken advantage of in any form or fashion if I can help it. If I posted a complaint related to an item or service I received off Ebay, I stand behind it.

Lisa, Andrew, Tommy or whoever else, if you have a specific item or service that I have complained about, be sure to list it here for all to see. This site is for those with LEGITIMATE complaints against businesses or individuals that have provided you with a product or service.

I have not been contacted about a product or service I allegedly provided so I can only assume that this report(s) have been issued in retailiation for a complaint or report I initiated on this site; retailiation seems the nature of the beast when it comes to bad companies/service individuals.

In any case, as I have previously stated, a lawsuit would be great. I get to counterclaim, don't have to pay the initial filing fees, and get to state the facts to a jury. Please file the lawsuit; I look forward to it. Also, until the lawsuit is filed, I will not be responding to any further Anonymous comments on this site.

If you have a problem with me, you should at least state your real name and real address in light of the fact that I know no Lisa from Seattle (I have never been there or bought from there); Andrew from Mobile (I haven't been to Mobile in 5 years and don't know an Andrew); and Tommy from Montgomery (I don't know a Tommy). If you want this settled in court, post your real name and address and let's handle this in Court. Until then, you are welcome to continue to post non-sense about Ebay purchases without further input from me.

My name is April. I found this "report" because I was trying to locate Bettie Carmack. Ms. Carmack used to work in Tuscaloosa, Centreville, Greensboro, Hale, and Walker County through her job.

Ms. Carmack provided assistance in the areas of car repossessions, foreclosures, evictions, housing, child custody, divorce and so forth. Ms. Carmack helped many people with their legal cases. She put $10K worth of work into a case with NO BUDGET allocated to her whatsoever.

Anyone on the other side of a case with Ms. Carmack knew that she was going to go to the mat for her client. In many instances, where a client had no money, they walked away from a case with their home intact, custody of their children, their vehicle in their possession, and settlements in their pockets.

Ms. Carmack helped keep an elderly and blind couple from being evicted. This is only one case that I know of personally.

I work in West Alabama and I am around the courthouse and lawyers all the time. Ms. Carmack provided assistance to those often ignored by society.

With this said, I highly doubt that Ms. Carmack is a bad person to do business with. Ms. Carmack is a consumer advocate and a fighter. If she finds out a person is defrauding another person, she is going to let others know.

This ripoff report doesn't even state what Ms. Carmack did. Whatever she did, I have no doubt that it was to fight for the consumer.

I question any site that would post a "ripoffreport" on an individual that is not verified and seems to be an attempt to attack a person for no reason. How much validity can this site have if it allows this type of thing to be done to a person known to advocate for consumer rights?

She is a theif and stole money from my wife and then stole our car and molested my 11 year old son. She is not young either, she is here in Alabama and was living at 504 Seaton Cir, in Montgomery. If you have children keep your young children away from this older woman she likes to molest young boys, she comes off all proper and everything but she is not!!! She stole money out of my wifes purse she befriends people and looks for vulnerability after she does it. She gave my wife a fake money order she made herself, the authorities are on her. She is a crafty sneeky middle class, criminal and a child molester, she was in Tuscolusa and now Montgomery. Don't do business with her, watch her, she will steal from you and she molested my 11 year old son. She actually manipulated him into the bedroom with her and he slept with her. WATCH HER. She will fool you like she did us because she is so conservative and proper, but don't be fooled. She uses the name Bettie too.

This is Tommy, I have made a complete issue here of mistaken identity, this Joyce Vondran are Bettie Vondran did not do what the above complaint says. She is not a sex offender are theif. This event happened over 28 years ago in 1979 and it fails my memory exactly who real culprit was because she used so many alias but I somehow got mis-information and thought it was this Joyce Vondran gal this Bettie Vondran gal but it was not, it was an entirely different person THIS IS AN ISSUE OF MISTAKEN IDENTITY AND I HAVE MADE A MISTAKE HERE.

It has been so long I got confused. So this report with her name Joyce Vondran/Bettie Vondran should be removed. I have never had any contact with a Joyce are Bettie Vondran. The owner of this site needs to remove this report since I am admitting that my previous post was complete mistaken identity. I am sorry for this mistake and I apologize. I believe the woman that put me through all this now resides in Florida. Like I said it has been so many years ago.

My name is Jake and I am Andrew's son. In 2002, my mother was diagnosed with Cancer. At this time, my father (Andrew reported above) decided to divorce my mother. See, my mother had been diagnosed with cancer in 1995 and was not expected to live. I was 9 at the time. I would often hear my father telling my mother: " I wish you would die!" My father told my mother he would have divorced her if she had not developed cancer. Well, my mother survived past the 5 year point and, in 2000, my father started having an affair. In 2002, my father filed for divorce. Two months after my father filed for divorce, my mother was again diagnosed with cancer.

My father made $75,000.00 a year at the time and paid all the bills, but he didn't give us any money. My mother had no money and, as a result, she decided to seek the assistance of Legal Aid. Bettie Carmack was assigned as my mother's attorney. I was 14 years old at the time and my sister was 16.

My mother was very sick during the time Ms. Carmack represented her and she really needed someone to talk to. My mother had a therapist that she spoke to for an hour every other week and would literally driving me and my sister nuts with her complaints and crying. All of this stopped when my mother realized that Ms. Carmack would talk to her everyday for free. Ms. Carmack and my mother spoke on the phone for an hour everyday during the time Ms. Carmack represented her.

My mother would call Ms. Carmack and tell her about my sister screaming at her for not buying her new bras (we had no money because my dad wouldn't pay his alimony on time). One time, my mother told Ms. Carmack she was going to kill herself. Ms. Carmack convinced my mother to hold on that she was a survivor and she would survive the cancer and the divorce.

Now, I love my father but what he did to my mother was not right and the lie he told on Ms. Carmack is not right. Ms. Carmack consoled my mother and acted as my mother's friend during the divorce.

My mother was awarded $1500.00 per month alimony and my father was ordered to pay all my mother's household expenses (including the house payment) and to pay for me and my sister's college and private school. My father was so upset with my mother and Ms. Carmack because my mother paid nothing and got everything she wanted and my father had to pay his lawyer $20,000.00.

Ms. Carmack left Legal Aid and my mother passed away the following year. My mother asked me to contact Ms. Carmack olet her know that she appreciates all she did for her and looks forward to seeing her in heaven.

I am now 20 years old and in college and I was going to contact Ms. Carmack about the support my father was suppose to pay me while in college and saw this report in a google search. Ms. Carmack helped us and I will never forget what she did for us in our time of need.
