AE Blinds & Shutters American Eagle Enterprise RIP OFF SHUTTER COMPANY; DO NOT USE!!! Internet, Internet

We made a purchase from this company for some shutters.  We spent over $3,000.00 on custom shutters from this company.

Upon placing another order with this company, the person that the company sent out to measure my windows made an error.  When they made the shutters, of course they did not fit.  The installer returned the shutters to the company and WITHOUT INFORMING ME there was an additional charge, this company charged my credit card $100.00.  Of course I was pissed because this transaction was made without my authorization.  ...and oh by the way, it was an error on the their company's part.

When I inquired about the transaction, their response was "I thought I sent you an invoice."  Of course they knew up front they did not send me an invoice.  Becca (an employee there) just thought it would be ok to just charge my credit card for an extra $100.00 - ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I spoke to the manager named Mark.  I explained to him.  Long story short, he said he could only refund me half of the charge ($50.00).  I told him that was unacceptable but that's all he did.  I explained to him I had spent over $3,000.00 with his company and asked him if he was going to let $50.00 cost him future business.  I guess Mark wanted that $50.00 very badly so it absolutely did cost him future business.  We're about to spend another $2,000.00 on shutters - of course not with his company.  In the end, Mark's company loses.

Moral of this story, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY because if there is a dispute, you will lose even for their mistake.  Again, DO NOT USE A&E SHUTTERS IN GARLAND, TX.  They will definitely rip you off!!!
