I made an order to The Blind Factory on Nov 18, 2008. My order was acknowledged on Nov 19, 2008 and my credit card was charged on Nov 20, 2008. The estimated ship date was Nov 26, 2008 (right before Thanksgiving). I was lenient on the ship date due to the holiday. On Dec 3, 2008 I called and spoke with a gentleman and requested to know if my blinds had shipped. He promised a call back and I never received a call. I called again Dec 4, 2008, same request and no call back. I left a very upset phone message with them on Dec 5th and no one responded. I called again on Dec 8, 2008 and spoke to Brad. By his comments on the phone he appeared to be the owner (he said he designed the website functions). The name of the owner is Brad on the website. The reason I talk about this is because even Brad didn't call me back witih status of my order. I e-mailed twice and told them of my intentions to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on Dec 9, 2008. On Dec 10, 2008 I called and again asked for status and they said I cancelled my order in an e-mail, which they didn't respond to my e-mail. I didn't cancel my order either, so they lied about that. When I told them I didn't cancel my order they hung up on me. So, I was forced to dispute my charges on my credit card and waste all this time letting the company know their customer service is appalling. My only assumption is they could be going bankrupt or they didn't like a customer chewing them out when they were so rude by not returning any of my calls, pleasant or unpleasant. None of my phone calls had a single instance of profanity, but I was very strong toned towards the end of this failed transaction.
