I am an ex employee of Clovis Marine.  I worked for Dave and Brenda Flum. I can assure the reader that it is worse than what has been reported.

Routinely, we use cheap replacement parts on customer boats. But charged out as if they were 
factory authorized parts. 

Routinely we used used parts.

Routinely we gave back parts to the customer that were not from their boats.

We used boxes on those return parts that were not what the replacement part was shipped in, so to trick the customer into thinking they got high quality parts.

Customers who returned were doubled charged for work that may not, or did not occur. Dave would cover for us and reward us to keep our mouths shut.

Customers who complained where threatened or intimidated then ignored.

The service orders were written vague for a reason, as not to let the customer know what actual work was performed.  There is no way to break down the work by hours spent, or parts replaced.

Dave Flum handled all the repair orders and wrote the final analysis.  The tech had no input or very little input.

Other shops in the Fresno area would have to re-repair our work leaving the customer angry.
Many good people were ripped off by Flum and Clovis Marine. I was embarrassed by what was going down and finally quit after seeing a customer and his family at the lake with a bad transom repair which we charged but did not perform.

Dave Flum is not an honest businessman.  He would laugh and make fun of customers and their boats behind their backs.  When the customer would come into the shop Dave would take over. Dave was very loud and intimidating. After the customer would leave Dave Flum would go into his office and laugh like a giggling idiot.

THE WORD IN THE COMMUNITY IS NOW OUT.

I, as an ex employee will be available to any customer for professional and technical assistance 
and will assist said customers in court with expert testimony on what I experienced as an employee of Clovis Marine.

We are being victimized by a convicted felon.  One person, Mark Johnson, has posted every rip off report.  We won the small claims case Mark E. Johnson vs Clovis Marine.  The repair work we performed on his boat was perfect and the judge agreed.  We counter-sued for slander and won that case as well.  It is obvious from the last few postings that Mark is furious with the outcome.  It also appears he has become irrational and extremely belligerent in his accusations of Clovis Marine and the owners. Feel free to review the court’s decision and also to review the felony convictions on Mark’s record.  I know many of our loyal customers have mentioned that there is a crazy person posting about us.  If you are so inclined, please post a rebuttal about your experiences at Clovis Marine.
